First Gainesville Order Electro Energy received their first commercial battery order for their 18650BX rechargeable Lithium-Ion cells. The Gainesville, FL plant is the largest manufacturing facility for 18650 type cells outside Asia and has the capacity to produce over 30 million cells per year. Learn More

$5Million Contract U.S. Defense Logistics Agency has awarded Electro Energy a contract to provide nickel cadmium (“NiCd”) batteries, NiCd cells and associated heater blanket assemblies for the U.S. Army Kiowa Helicopter fleet. The two-year base period has a maximum contract value of $5.2 million and a five-year contract maximum value of $13.3 million. Learn More
