Michael E. Reed
Director, President & Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Reed has over 35 years experience in the battery industry in technical, operational and general management roles. His international experience includes transitioning advanced technology products and manufacturing from research and development to commercialization. Prior to joining Electro Energy, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of Eagle Picher Horizon Batteries, LLC, where he directed the start-up of an advanced technology battery facility in Beijing, China. At Johnson Controls, Mike served as an expatriate General Manager of Johnson Controls' South American Battery Operations headquartered in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Before that, Mike held several technical, operations and general management positions within Johnson Controls, Exide Corporation, and the Delco Remy Division of General Motors Corporation. Mike holds a BSChE in chemical engineering from Purdue University and a MBA from Indiana University.

Timothy E. Coyne
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Coyne has over 30 years experience in senior financial and accounting positions, including expertise in the capital markets, reporting and compliance and financial management. He has extensive experience in senior financial positions for publicly traded companies. Prior to joining Electro Energy, Mr. Coyne served as Chief Financial Officer, Vice President and Corporate Controller of Imagistics International Inc., a former division of Pitney Bowes Inc., where he was responsible for Accounting, Finance, Treasury, Budgeting, Reporting/Control, Audit, Tax and Investor Relations. He helped launch the spin-off of Imagistics from Pitney Bowes. He also served as Chief Financial Officer, Vice President and Corporate Controller of TransPro, Inc., a $250 million NYSE-listed manufacturer of heat transfer components and systems for automotive and original equipment automotive, truck, specialty vehicle and industrial applications spun-off from the Allen Group. He received his B.S., Accounting, Magna Cum Laude from Herbert H. Lehman College of the City University of New York.
