Military Programs

The military purchases millions of battery cells every year either directly or through battery packagers. Today, some of these cells are typically manufactured outside the U.S. Electro Energy is a domestic supplier of these cells and batteries to the U.S. military.

Raytheon Aegis Missile Battery

  • Battery installed in place of the motor
  • Provides electrical power for various ground tests
  • Six batteries in one container: two 24 cell, 2Ah batteries; one 30 cell,4Ah battery; one 24 cell, 7Ah battery; one 24 cell 16Ah battery; and one 134 cell, 7Ah battery 
  • All sealed cells to eliminate arcing on high voltage section
