Utility/distributed energy
Electro Energy’s advanced battery systems can provide intermediate power supply and work in conjunction with a “smart grid” to utilize low-cost grid power for charging. Electro Energy’s bipolar system is more environmentally friendly than conventional backup systems. It eliminates noisy, messy generators that require refueling, and the battery system itself contains no hazardous materials and is sealed to eliminate maintenance.

UPS for commercial businesses
The bipolar technology is ideally suited for commercial, retail, multi-tenant and community UPS backup systems. It can also provide peak shaving and load leveling on a non-emergency basis to reduce energy consumption.

Alternative energy
The bipolar technology can be used for renewable high-power storage for power conditioning and back-up. For example, using lower energy, high power batteries can help level noisy wind power systems.
